Srinagar, Nov 9: Security forces today arrested an Over Ground Worker of Hizbul Mujahideen who was involved in anti-election activities in North Kashmir.
A police officer said that Aijaz Ahmad Mir son of Ali Mohammad Mir of Drangbal was arrested by 46 Rashtriya Rifles of Army and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police Baramulla today.
The officer said that Mir was also involved in anti-election activities during Parliamentary polls early this year. He was also involved in threatening of voters during the elections and beating of the voters after the elections.
The officer said that police was after him but he was evading arrest.
