HM militant surrenders before BSF in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant on Saturday surrendered before the Border Security Force (BSF) in Kashmir.

A BSF spokesperson said that on Saturday at about 0900 hrs, an HM associate, identified as Muzafar Ahmed, resident of Braw Bandina in Pulwama, surrendered before the Inspector General, BSF, Kashmir Frontier.

He said the accused was wanted in connection with an encounter, which took place in village Drabgam, Pulwama on November 25, 2019, in which, two militants – Irfan Ahmed Sheikh and Irfan Ahmed Rather were killed in a gunfight with security forces. (AGENCIES)
