JAMMU, Mar 31: Chairman of the NGO Healthy India Stronger India (HISI), Hira Lal Abrol organised a special two day programme to donate thousands of books from class nursery to 12th along with notebooks, stationary material, bags, sanitizers and masks.
This programme was conducted at Gurudwara Chand Nagar and Mahalakshmi Mandir Pacca Danga.
A large number of students visited the stalls with their parents to receive the books and stationary material free of cost.
Speaking on the occasion Hira Lal Abrol motivated the students to take their studies seriously and work hard for a better future for themselves and their families. Members of the NGO-S. Nirmal Singh, Ramneek Sharma, Raj Kumar, S. Kirtan Singh and Raj Kumar Sodi were also present on the occasion.
The NGO HISI founded by Hira Lal Abrol also runs free training centre for skill development of poor children and offers three month free courses in Basic Computers, Cutting & Tailoring, Beautician Course, Vocal Music, Dance and provides free library to the students. Girls and women trainees are trained in Self Defence at the NGO.
