High time for India to declare Pak a terrorist country: PK

‘Separate homeland only solution to Pandits problems’

JAMMU, Nov 1: Commending Narendra Modi Government for taking proactive steps against terrorism which is a biggest threat to humanity across the globe, Panun Kashmir (PK) today said that it is high time for Government of India to declare Pakistan a terrorist country in view of its confession regarding Pulwama terrorist attack.
The demand was made by PK leaders during a Webinar cum press conference here, which was addressed by its convener, Dr Agnishekhar and chairman, Dr Ajay Chrungoo.
The two PK leaders said that Jehadi forces have posed a grave threat to Global peace especially in view of the recent terrorist attacks in France which is an eye opener for some countries who still don’t take the cognizance of the same. They said that France has now openly come against the terrorism and support extending by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to French Government in this regard is highly appreciable as India is grave sufferer of terrorist violence.
Both Agnishekhar and Dr Ajay, while highlighting the issue of displaced Kashmiri Pandits whom they described the worst victims of Pakistani terrorism leading an exiled life for last over 31 years now, said that the only solution to this issue is their permanent settlement in the separate homeland to be carved out on the North Eastern banks of river Jehlum in Kashmir in accordance to their geo-political aspirations and as per the Marg Darskan resolution of 1991.
Outrightly rejecting the Government’s repeated statements of settling the displaced Pandits in 10 districts of the Valley, the PK leaders said this formula is neither workable nor is a permanent solution to the vexed problem. “This formula is not acceptable to us and PK rejects it lock, stock and barrel”, said Dr Ajay.
The KP leaders, while making a strong dig at the Gupkar Declaration signatories, termed it nothing except another face of Hurriyat Conference and demanded that the Government of India should act tough against them. The so-called mainstream parties of Valley on the name of strengthening democratic structures in the J&K worked as support structures to secessionist forces over the years and this was overlooked by the successive Union Governments till situation took such a critical turn that entire Hindu minorities were forced to leave the Valley by the Jehadi forces, said Dr Ajay Chrungoo.
Taking serious exception to pro China statement by NC president, Dr Farooq Abdullah, he said that this way the NC leader gave an indication to them that you attack India and people of Kashmir are with them. He demanded that a special investigation team be constituted to probe the role of NC and PDP while lambasting the statement of Mehbooba Mufti president PDP against the National Flag.
The PK leaders also took serious exception of attempts being made by certain elements in cultural invasion in Kashmir by naming Lal Ded a Shaivite and great Yogni as Lal Arifa saying this will not be allowed at any cost.
