Hideout busted

Srinagar, Apr 22: Police today said that security forces busted a militant hideout and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition at Rajwar forest area of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“Today acting on a specific input, a joint team of Army’s 21 RR, Handwara police and 92 Bn CRPF launched a cordon in Watsar forest area”,  a police spokesman said.
He said that during searches, a hideout of militants was  busted and huge quantity of cache was recovered including one pika, one bazooka, one radio set Yaesu, six mor rounds, 940 pika ammunition, 3 silences, six AK magazines, four IED initiating mechanism, eight kilogramme IED explosive, 21 UBGL rounds, one hand grenade, four RPG rounds, 15 RPG boosters, 20 electric detonator, 4 boxes of detonators and magazines.
