JALANDHAR, Sep 29: BSF personnel today recovered 2 kg of heroin estimated worth Rs 10 crore in international market from near the Mahwa Border Outpost of Amritsar Sector.
A magazine, three Pakistani SIM cards and two mobile phones were also found from the site, BSF Punjab Frontier DIG R S Katariya said.
The DIG said these items were seized in a special search operation early today near the Border Outpost.
During the current year, the BSF had been able to seize over 194.7 kg of smugged heroin so far, he added. (PTI)
