REASI, Aug 3: Demanding Departmental Promotion Committee for all categories of employees in Health Department, a district level protest dharna was observed at District Hospital premises, here today.
Employees of Health department in district Reasi, viz Pharmacists, FMPHWs, X Ray Technicians, Lab Tech, BHWs, JHIs, Class IV , JSN, S/W, Clerical staff, Dental Techs etc took part in the three-hour long protest dharna, which was organized under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, led by the State President Sushil Sudan.
All regular employees of all blocks of District Reasi attended the protest dharna and raised slogans in support of their demand for the DPC.
The JKMEF leaders strongly criticized the alleged callous attitude of higher authorities and Govt of J&K towards the genuine demand of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
Those who addressed the protest dharna, included Madan Lal, Abdul Hameed Bhatt, Bhanu Partap, Naresh Sharma, Krishan Lal, Sushil Kohli, Mukesh Mangotra, Dheeraj Kesar, Shakti Devi and Neelam Devi.
