Health Centre found locked, 4 suspended

RAJOURI, Apr 1: Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kotr-anka, Dr Iqbal Malik today placed four employees of Govt Health Sub Centre under suspension after he found it locked during the day.
Official sources said that on the basis of public complaints that Health Sub Centre Sankari in Kandi area often remains closed, the BMO Kotranka proceeded on the spot and found that it was locked at 11.40 am and many people along with their children were waiting there for immunization. He remained there up to 12.30 pm but no staff member turned up there at the health institute.
The BMO initiated an inquiry against the staff and pending probe, placed all the four staff members posted there, under suspension. They are- Kanchan Devi and Suneeta Kumari, both FMPHWs, Junior Pharmacist -Aziz Mirza and Raiz-ul-Haq, Safaiwalla.
