BILLAWAR, Aug 31: Billawar Police today arrested two persons including a headmaster and teacher for outraging the modesty of a female teacher.
According to police Ramneek Basotra Headmaster Government. Middle School Moar Bhatodi and Krishan Chand teacher in Government High School Sadrota were arrested in a case of outraging the modesty of a woman namely Pooja Devi (name changed) who is also posted as a teacher in Government Middle School Moar Bhatodi.
The incident took place on 23/08/16 at Moar Bhatodi when both these teachers with common criminal intentions outraged the modesty of the said teacher in the far flung area in the jurisdiction of Police Station Billawar. The victim lady narrated the whole incident to her husband who gave her enough courage and asked her to get the matter reported to police so that a stern action could be taken against the culprits. Accordingly a case F.I.R 85/2016 under Sections 354/452 RPC got registered at PS Billawar.
It is pertinent to mention here that being a headmaster of the same school, Ramneek Basotra along with his colleague Krishan Chand,has tarnished the reputation of the most respected organization i.e., Education Department. Moreover, people of the area have appreciated the bold lady who has come forward and showed utmost courage to get the culprits booked for the criminal act done by the accused.
The people have also condemned the most hateful act of the Headmaster and teacher and demanded the stern action under law against them.
