JAMMU, Oct 21: State High Court today came to the rescue of people of Channi Himmat by directing the Executive Engineer of PHE Department to ensure supply of clean drinking water to the inhabitants through mobile water tankers till further orders.
The direction has been passed in a petition filed by one Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh. Senior Advocate SS Lehar assisted by Advocate Aditya Sharma appeared for the petitioner whereas Government Advocate Sanjeev Padha for the J&K Housing Board.
