JAMMU, Jan 18: In a petition filed by one Liaqat Ali and others, Vacation Judge of State High Court Justice Hasnain Massodi has directed that two posts of constables in J&K Auxiliary Police in district Rajouri should be left unfilled till next date of hearing.
According to petitioners, they participated in the selection process under Schedule Tribe Category but have been singled out for discriminatory treatment and were not favoured with the appointment orders.
After hearing Advocate Davinderpreet Kour appearing for the petitioners, Justice Hasnain Massodi issued notice to the respondents returnable within four weeks and directed that two posts under ST Category should not be filled till the next date of hearing.
