JAMMU, Sept 26: In a bunch of petitions challenging premature retirement, High Court today directed the Secretary, General Administration Department to produce the record failing which he shall appear in person on next date of hearing.
“Keeping in view the rigor of interim order of preemptory directions, benefit whereof has not been availed right to file counter stand closed ”, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat said, adding “in the interest of justice, one week’s time is granted to the respondents to produce the relevant record failing which Secretary General Administration Department to appear in person”, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat said.
Senior Advocates D C Raina, Sunil Sethi and Advocates Abhinav Sharma, Anil Verma, Veenu Gupta, C S Azad and Sheikh Shakeel Ahmad appeared for the petitioners where as Government Advocate Antsham Bhat appeared for the General Administration Department.
