JAMMU, Dec 13: High Court has quashed the detention order of three namely Ghulam Din, Mohammad Zahoor Wani and Ali Hayder, who were detained under PSA by the order of District Magistrate Rajouri.
After hearing Advocate Sheikh Altaf Hussain for the detenues whereas Govt Advocate Bhanu Jasrotia for the UT, High Court observed, “this is a clear case of non-supply of relevant material to the detenue, to prevent the detenue from making an effective representation against his detention”. Accordingly, High Court quashed the detention orders and directed to release the detenues forthwith, provided they are not required in any other case.
