JAMMU, Jan 22: Vacation Judge of State High Court Justice Hasnain Massodi today declined to stay proceedings in the much-publicized Chopra family murder case and issued notice to the respondents.
The order was passed in a criminal revision filed by Puneet Chopra, son of deceased RB Chopra against the order of Trial Court whereby Trial Court had granted bail to seven alleged accused.
Advocate Pranav Kohli appearing for Puneet Chopra prayed for setting-aside the order of Trial Court and also issuance of direction for immediate arrest/detention of the respondents.
Justice Hasnain Massodi issued notice to respondents and directed their counsel Ashwani Khajuria to file objections if any.
