JAMMU, June 5: Division Bench of the State High Court comprising Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice B S Walia today allowed a Miscellaneous Application seeking impleadment of Tasaduq Jeelani, Director Estates as party respondent in the contempt petition filed by specially abled lawyer Suraj Singh.
After hearing Advocates S C Gupta and Sheikh Shakeel Ahmed appearing for the petitioner Advocate Suraj Singh and Government Advocate Ahtsham Bhat appearing for the Estates Department, the Division Bench allowed the Miscellaneous Application and impleaded Tasaduq Jeelani, Director Estates as party respondent in the contempt petition.
The Division Bench also issued notice to the newly impleaded respondent and notice on behalf of the Director Estates was accepted in the open court by Government Advocate Ahtsham Bhat. The DB directed Government Advocate Ahtsham Bhat to file statement of facts within four weeks and further directed the Registry to list this contempt petition immediately after four weeks.
