Srinagar, Dec 5: High Court has directed the Health Department to come up with a concrete proposal for filling up of vacant paramedical posts by other permissible modes in hospitals.
Senior Additional Advocate General J A Kawoosa submitted before the court the department has extended time by 15 days for applications to these posts as no one had applied till November 30.
A Division Bench of High Court comprising Justices Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and Muzaffar Hussain Attar after hearing the arguments observed “the respondents shall be at liberty to do so, but at the same time, if again, the response will be poor explore possibility of filling such posts.”
Kawoosa also submitted that one post of Professor, 2 posts of Assistant Professors and one post of Lecturer were also vacant.
