JAMMU, July 28: Harmukh Ganga Gangbal Trust (HGGT) and All Parties Migrants’ Coordination Committee (APMCC) today announced the dates for the 5th annual yatra for historic Harmukh Ganga Gangbal Yatra.
In a joint statement, vice president Gangbal Trust and national spokesperson APMCC King Bharati and general secretary APMCC Advocate Arun Kandroo said that 5th annual Gangbal Yatra will begin from September 11 to 15, for which the registration has formally started today.
Bharati expressed hope that this year it will be a boom for Gangbal yatra as hundreds are expected to join the 5-day long yatra from all over India.
He added that the yatries will assemble in Srinagar on September 11 and proceed towards Naran Naag in Kangan Tehsil of Ganderbal district where they will stay for the night and proceed on foot towards holy Gangbal lake on September 12. On September 13, on the auspicious day of Ganga Ashtami a joint Shradha of our ancestors and martyrs will be performed along with individual Shradha by the pilgrims adding the yatries will return on September 15.
