UDHAMPUR, Feb 3: Police in Udhampur district claimed today that they have booked a hardcore drug peddler under the NDPS Act.
SSP Udhampur, Vinod Kumar said that Azhar Chandail of Housing Colony area of the town was one of the notorious drug peddlers and was arrested several times in heinous crimes.
“A dossier with regard to his criminal activities was prepared and submitted before the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, who after careful consideration, ordered his detention under the PIT NDPS Act,” said the SSP Udhampur.
