JAMMU, Nov 4: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Miran Sahib area today booked a hardcore criminal from Simbal Camp area under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged him in District Jail Poonch.

Tajinder Singh alias Happy of Ward number 4, Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib, Jammu, had a history of involvement in several violent and heinous offences, a police official said.
Despite multiple arrests and legal actions, Singh, showing complete disregard to the law, continued his involvement in the criminal activities, thereby posing a serious threat to the public peace and security, he said.
As such, District Magistrate Jammu issued a PSA warrant against the accused, which got executed today with the arrest and subsequent lodging of the accused in District Jail Poonch, he said.
