JAMMU, Sept 14: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested a hardcore criminal along with sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station conducted raid and apprehended a hardcore criminal along with sharp edged weapon.
The accused has been identified as Rohan Thapa alias Kallu, son of Vishal Thapa of Gorkha Nagar, Jammu.
The accused was also wanted in attempt to murder cases registered with Police Stations Gandhi Nagar and Pacca Danga. He was also wanted by Gangyal police and arrested warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him.
A fresh case under FIR Number 67/17 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu SI Bimal Indu made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Chaudhary.
