JAMMU, July 11: The annual festival of “Harbah” was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety today. On the occasion a Maha Yagya was performed on Ashard Shukla Paksha Duadashi by Teerath Raj Nagbal, Sidh Lakshmi Peeth, Lokbhawan Trust at, Durga Nagar Jammu for peace and prosperity across the country and over all betterment of the community. A large number of devotees participated and paid their obeisance to Mata Sidh Lakshmi ,Mahakal Bhairav .The whole surrounding of Mata Darbar and Maha Bhairov was decorated with various types of lights, flowers, garlands etc.
It is pertinent to mention here that every year Trust celebrates this festival at its Headquarter Teerath Raj Nagbal Sidh Lakshmi Peeth ,Village Lok Bhawan district Anantnag (Kashmir ) but due to the prevailing situation in Kashmir it was decided by the Trust to perform the function at Sector 2,DurgaNagar,here this year.
The devotees sung Bhajan -Kirtan in a traditional way. While offering Puran Ahuti in the Yagya, the devotees prayed for peace across the country and betterment of the community .Swami Kumar Ji ( Geeta Satsang Ashram) Muthi highlighted the significance of the day. Swami Ji also hoisted the Flag
At the end one of in charge member of the Trust complimented all the participants and the members as well as volunteers of the Trust for their whole hearted support in organizing the celebration of Harbah Festival with a grand success which was not possible without their support. He wished them all the best and the function culminated with positive note. Hawan started yesterday evening and culminated with Puranahuti today which was followed by Vitran of Prashad to devotees. The pooja -Archana was also performed at Teerathraj Nagbal Sidhlakshmi Peeth (Trust) Lok Bhawan, Kashmir.
