Hafiz Sayeed spotted opposite Barmer

JAMMU, July 1: Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jamat-ul-Dawa head Hafiz Sayeed has been spotted across the International Border in Barmer sector of Rajasthan.
According to Intelligence inputs, Sayeed was camping in Mirpur Khas, Mithi and Sindh areas of Pakistan falling along the International Boundary opposite Barmer area of Rajasthan. His movement has been observed in these three areas for the past three days.
The Border Security Force (BSF) has been put on high alert after reports about movement of Hafiz Sayeed opposite Barmer.
Sources said no reasons have been ascertained behind the movement of Hafiz Sayeed opposite Barmer.
“The possibility of Sayeed exploring new infiltration route for the militants for carrying out terror attack in India is not ruled out,’’ they added.
