JAMMU: Governor N N Vohra, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, has summoned the State Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council to meet at Srinagar on May 25.
Under the provision of Section 55(1) of the Constitution of J&K, the Governor N N Vohra, has called upon the Members of the J&K Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council to assemble together in the Sher-i- Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), Srinagar on May 25 to hear his Address.
After the said Address, each House of the Legislature will meet as a separate body at the time specified by the respective Presiding Officers. The Governor approved the State Government’s proposal in regard to this matter today. (AGENCIES)
