JAMMU: Governor N N Vohra on Friday accepted the resignation of MoS Farooq Andrabi and also nominated Tassaduq Mufti as the Member of Legislative Council.
The Governor has accepted the resignation of Mr Andrabi, Minister of State Haj and Aquaf (Independent Charge), PDD, PHE, I& FC and I&C.
Meanwhile in exercise of powers vested in Governor under sub-section (6) of section 50 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Vohra has nominated Mr Tassaduq Hussain Mufti as a Member of the J&K Legislative Council against the seat available in the Council. (AGENCIES)
