MENDHAR, June 24: Guru Surya Dev Ji Mahraj who is on a spiritual mission to Poonch district addressed a religious congregation at satsang hall of Gohlad here today.
A large number of people belonging to different religions participated in the satsang. The Guru Ji is the heir of Sat Guru Baba Biram Shah Ji Mahraj, whose Gadi is 427 year old.
Guru Ji gave the religious discourses for the first time near LoC.
Guru Ji stressed on unity among the different faiths and urged the people to follow the teachings of their respective religions as all religions teach brotherhood and are based on principles of humanity.
The santsang was organized by Sanjeev Kumar Fancy under the supervision of president Hanuman Mandir Committee Mendhar, and Sarpanch Divinder Kumar Tandon.
Earlier Guru Ji was given a tumultuous welcome at Mendhar and he was taken into a grand procession by the devotees from Dharana Chowk to Satsang hall.
Satnatan Dharam Sabha chief Mendhar Satish Kumar Sharma and Subash Chander Bali were among a large number of devotees who were present on the occasion. Later the devotees were served the prashad. After the Satsang Guru Ji returned to Poonch.
