Gur steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, July 12:  There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market at national capital today as prices continued to rule steady in the absence of worthwhile activity.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend.
Marketmen said scattered demand against restricted arrivals mainly kept prices at previous levels.
Following are today’s rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,400-3,500, pedi 3,500-3,600, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,975-3,000, chakku 2,950-3,200, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,200-3,250 and dhayya N.A. (PTI)
