NEW DELHI, May 31: Steady conditions persisted in the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market at the national capital as prices continued to be hover around previous closing levels, in the absence of any substantial activity. Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets, too, ended steady on some support. Marketmen said absence of any worthwhile activity amid restricted arrivals and offtake, mainly kept market steady. Following are today’s rates per quintal: Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,200-3,300, dhayya 3,400- 3,500 and shakkar 3,500-3,600. Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,700-2,750, chakku 2,750-3,100, khurpa 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo 2,900-3,000. Muradnagar: Pedi 2,850-2,900 and dhayya 2,900-3,000. (PTI)
