NEW DELHI, Aug 27: The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market displayed a steady trend in the national capital today with prices after moving in a limited range on scattered support, ended at previous closing levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended steady on little doing.
Maketmen said scattered buying support against negligible stocks, kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,900-4,000, pedi Rs 4,000-4,100, dhayya Rs 4,100-4,200 and shakkar Rs 4,300-4,400.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 3,400-3,450, chakku Rs 3,425-3,500, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,700-3,800 and dhayya Rs 3,150-3,175. (PTI)
