Gur ends steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Apr 27: The wholesale Jaggery market ended on a steady note in the national capital today following scattered demand amid restricted arrivals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also finished without any changes in the absence of buying support.
Market participants said small buying support and adequate stocks postion mainly kept prices flat.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,100-3,200, pedi 3,150-3,250, dhayya 3,300- 3,400 and shakkar 3,400-3,500.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,650-2,700, chakku 2,650-3,000 and khurpa 2,550-2750.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2850-2,900 and dhayya 2,900-2950. (PTI)
