Gur ends steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Aug 17:  Dull conditions developed on the wholesale Jaggery market at the national capital today as prices continued to be asked on last levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factor.
Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled on previous levels in thin trade.
Marketmen said sluggish demand and negligible arrivals, mainly kept prices at last levels.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,500- 3,600 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,700-2,800, chakku 2,900-3,050 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3100-3,150 and dhayya 3,100-3150. (PTI)
