NEW DELHI, Sept 28: Dull conditions developed at the wholesale Jaggery market here today as prices continued to be asked on previous levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also closed without any changes on little doings.
Marketmen said restricted supply from manufacturing areas amid reduced offtake, mainly held prices on last closing levels.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,250-3,350, pedi 3,500-3,600, dhayya 3,500-3,600 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,600-2,700, chakku 2,850-2,950 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3050-3,100 and dhayya 3,100-3150. (PTI)
