NC leader also sought effective implementation of three ‘T’s, testing, tracking  and treating the patients to win over the virus, which has emerged as the most dreaded threat to the humanity across the globe. For this, coordinated effort and monitoring is necessary. On their part, the people should also adhere to the COVID appropriate behaviour as any laxity will cost adversely and enormously, he added.
Gupta also sought filling up of the vacancies of medics and paramedics, as the reports of 30 per cent sanctioned strength of doctors lying vacant. If the shortage of doctors is being faced in the urban hospitals, what would be the scenario in rural areas, he asked, hoping that the administration would address the issue on priority.
