JAMMU, Mar 1: MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta, today inaugurated a chain of developmental works in Ward No 3.
The total cost of the projects was estimated at about Rs 17 lakh and some of the works being undertaken are a long pending demand of the people of the area.
The works involve the laying of paver tiles in KL Sehgal Gali and deep drains from Link Road Chowk to Peer Mitha Chowk.
Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the works in the presence of prominent citizens of the area. The officials who accompanied the MLA included AEE Yasir Kitchloo, JE Jagdish Singh and JE Rakesh Khajuria.
While speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that every day he is getting opportunity to launch new works that gives him a lot of satisfaction.
Among the BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA were Prof Shyam, Rajinder Gupta, Vidya Devi, Raju Khajuria, Kuldeep Sharma, Vijay, Narottam and PC Gupta.
