UDHAMPUR, Jan 20: Pawan Kumar Gupta, MLA, Udhampur presided over a meeting of women from Mand and Lagte zone today wherein they conveyed grievances of their areas.
They told that the sporadic supply of electricity and water and lack of basic facilities was causing huge inconvenience and discomfort to their daily lives. They expressed hope that things will change soon now that Pawan Kumar Gupta was their MLA.
On this occasion, Pawan Gupta said that he attributes his victory to a large extent to the women of his constituency as they stepped out of their houses in large numbers and voted for him. He expressed gratitude and ensured his commitment for the betterment of Udhampur. He assured them that their complaints have been noted and he is already working with the Government officials to work in this direction.
