SRINAGAR, Nov 18: Hitting out at Gupkar Gang, BJP J&K general secretary, Vibodh Gupta today said that the tweets of Home Minister, Amit Shah have rightly labelled PAGD as an unholy global alliance. He further proclaimed Gupkar Gang as a ‘sinking ship’ and termed it as ‘alliance of rejected leaders’. These rejected leaders and parties who can’t fight BJP one to one and eye to eye have come together with the sole agenda to seek power without any roadmap for the future of J&K. He said that BJP has a formidable coalition with 135 crore people of the country.
Vibodh maintained this during the door to door election campaign of BJP’s DDC candidate Engineer Azaj Ahmad Rather from Khanmoh constituency. He termed the alliance as anti-national gathering dancing on the tunes of Pakistan and China and said that the alliance is the confluence of misleading and contradicted leaders. He strongly asserted that BJP will win the upcoming DDC election with a thumping majority and urged people to vote in the favour of Azaj Ahmad Rather during door to door campaign.
Gupta said that BJP’s resolve for peace and development in Kashmir has received tremendous support from local people especially the youth. With people of Kashmir, our leaders will together restore the glory of Kashmir which has been threatened by the corrupt and self-centred politics of PDP-NC and Congress.
Speaking on the occasion, J&K BJP vice president, and Seh-Prabhari, Sofi Yousuf said that the BJP’s election campaign is receiving enormous support in Valley. He exhibited confidence that BJP will win the majority of seats in J&K as the common man of J&K have recognized the fact that PM Modi can only bring peace and prosperity.
Taking jibe at Gupkar Gang Sofi said that it is the gathering of corrupt, dynastic, self-centred and greedy leaders with no concern with the people of J&K. They have only plundered the peace and resources of J&K and now its the people of UT which will show them the exit gates, he added.
Other who spoke on the occasion were Srinagar district president Ashok Bhat secretary BJP’s youth wing Bilal Ahmad, district VP Mohd Yousuf Dar, district VP, Dr Ashok Koul and election in charge Asif Masoodi.
