JAMMU, Feb 5: All J&K PHE Government Service Assistant Employees Association (GSA) held protest demonstration in support of their pending demands.
The employees under the banner of GSA (Jammu province), led by Hoshiyar Singh, Bhanu Sambyal, Binkel Manhas and others assembled here at the complex and continued their protest on fifth consecutive day. They are demanding settlement of their long pending demands.
They shouted slogans against the higher authorities in the department and said that many temporary workers including CP, casual workers and daily wagers are without wages since long. They strongly demanded that all the pending workers as per commitment of the government be regularized.
They also demanded implement SRO-520 on fast track, release pending arrears, release monthly wages regularly and prepare files of the temporary workers.
They urged upon the Governor Satya Pal Malik to resolve their pending issues.
