REASI, Oct 6: GRP Katra today organized a “Civic Action Program” in Government Primary/Middle School Blad Sangar, in Zone Gandhi Nagar.
School toilets have been repaired to facilitate both male and female students of the school under the said programme. On the occasion, SSP Railways Katra, Ranjit Singh Sambyal while speaking, emphasized upon the teachers to inculcate ethical values among students.
The students were also advised to keep themselves away from the drug abuse and illegal activities which are growing faster in the society. The SSP also stressed upon the parents, who were also present in the function, to keep a close watch on the activities of their kids so that they can be kept away from indulging in any illegal activities.
The programme was attended by Bodh Raj, Surinder Singh Baloria (SDPOs Katra/ Udhampur), SHO Manwal and I/C, PP Sangar, Headmaster of the school, students, school staff and prominent citizens of the locality.
