GRP hands over 2 girls to parents

JAMMU, Feb 11: Men of GRP Jammu at Kathua played an exemplary role by returning the two minor girls who had run away from their homes to their parents and preventing them from falling in the clutches of undesirable elements. The two run-away girls were residents of area near Jama Masjid Bathindi, here.
According to police the two girls boarded Pooja Express at Jammu Railway Station and deboarded at Railway Station Kathua. Men of GRP Jammu observed the confused expressions of the girls keenly. After polite and homely discussions with them to know about their whereabouts, the GRP contacted their family members.
Police said after coming to know of the actual story of these minor girls, the matter was brought to the notice of Suram Singh, SP Railways Jammu by the SHO and on the directions of SP Railways, the girls were handed over to their parents. The parents of the said girls lauded the role of GRP men.
