POONCH, July 11: Three members of a marriage party including groom, were seriously injured when a boulder fell on a moving car near Chandimarh on Mughal Road in Poonch district on Friday. Click here to watch video
Official sources said that a marriage party was on way to Shopian from Shahpur in district Poonch. Three members including groom were travelling in a swift car bearing registration number JK12B-8483. When the vehicle crossed Chandimarh area and was heading towards Behramgalla, a shooting stone from the mountain hit the vehicle due to which groom along with two other persons were injured and were rushed to PHC Chandimarh and after first aid were shifted to SDH Surankote.
Block Medical Officer Surankote, Dr Yousuf said that on the request of family all the three were shifted to GMC Srinagar after initial treatment. One among them was said to be serious.
The injured were identified as Mohd Amin (30), son of Abdul Kareem; Mohd Khalid (30), son of Ghulam Rasool, residents of Shahpur (Poonch) and Mohd Javid (25), son of Mohd Ali, resident of Mohalla, Radio Station, Poonch.
