Grievance Cell of BJP KDD calls on Relief Commissioner

JAMMU, Aug 18: To seek redressal of the problems being faced by the displaced community with regard to supply of basic amenities and other issues, the Grievance Cell of BJP Kashmir Displaced District, under the chairmanship of its chief Shardanandan Bhat met the Relief Commissioner (Migrants), ML Raina in his office chambers, here today.
The members projected various problems being faced by the displaced community in camps and non-camps and sought redressal of the same at an earliest.
Mr Bhat said that it was a review meeting as they had already discussed the issues with the Relief Commissioner with regard to sufficient water supply to Jagati and other camps and bifurcation of migrant cards.
The Relief Commissioner assured the members that all their issues will be redressed at an earliest, adding that Jagti Water Supply Scheme has already been approved and the inmates will no longer face water scarcity.
The Relief Commissioner also assured the delegation that the issues regarding bifurcation of cards will also be dealt on priority.
Bhat was accompanied by Piaray Lal Dhar, general secretary BJP Kashmir Displaced District, Advocate Ram Krishan Koul and Secretaries Chaman Lal Pandita and AK Sher.
