JAMMU, Dec 25: French Club, Jammu conducted the Grand Finale of the Season-1 of ‘Schools Got Talent’ that included Dancing, Singing and Acting  organized at Teacher Bhawan Auditorium, here today.
Twenty four schools participated in the event and the participants of these schools enthralled everyone with their stupendous and breathtaking performances of singing, dancing and acting.
In the Dancing Category, Aman Prusti from New Era High School secured first position, Harshika from St. Peter High School got second position, Nandini from KS Public School and Sneha from Oriental Academy shared third position respectively and special consolation prize was given to Namya of KC Gurukul School.
In the Singing Category, Vaibhav from Heritage School secured first position, Kunwar from KC International School fetched second spot and Chetan from Springdales School got third position.
In the Acting Category, Dhruv Lamba from Model Academy secured first position, Bipasha from KC International claimed second position and Kosar from KC Gurukul School got third position.
The motive behind this talent hunt was to promote hidden talents of the state.  Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly was the chief guest on the occasion, who congratulated French Club for organizing the event.
He said Jammu has abundant talent and it is duty for all to provide platform to the budding artists for honing their artistic skills.
District President BJP, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Dr SD Singh Jamwal, IGP Jammu and Yudhvir Sethi, State Vice President BJP were the guests of honour on the occasion, while Gaurav Gupta, Secretary CCI and Sonika Sharma, Mrs Earth Face of North India were the special guests.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Harbans Chaudhary, President, BJP, Satwari Mandal, Ankush Gupta, President, Gandhi Nagar Mandal and Ajay Singh Chandel, President, Rudra Youth Trust.
The Jury members comprised of Kusum Tickoo, Vivek Mohan, Karan Malhotra, Pawan Verma, J R Jackson, Vikas Chaudhary and Ankush Padha.
Sugandhi Goel, MD ,Trived Management Company managed the event with her team members namely Trinate, Rozer, Sonali, Mehak, Sandhya and Mohit.
Senior Members of the French Club who were present on the occasion were Rajesh Chib, Ujwal Singh Rathore, Tapas, Harminder Singh, Lokesh, Ravinderpal Singh, Ashish, Preeti Bhat, Nisha Reshi, Deepshikha, Isha and Damini.
The event was held under the supervision of Ashima Sharma, Senior Member of French Club.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Simran, Sabia, Aarti and Gagandeep Singh.
