JAMMU, Feb 27: Chairman, J&K Grameen Bank, J R Angural inaugurated Vee Enn Resort, a unit financed by branch office Kartholi of J&K Grameen Bank at Sarore today.
While speaking on the occasion, Chairman said that the bank expects a fruitful journey ahead with the business unit which is owned by Vinod Kumar Charak, who is also Sarpanch of Upper Panchayat, Sarore. He said that the bank should be pro-active in providing credit facilities to the budding entrepreneurs that will aid development and financial prosperity of the State.
He also said that the bank has tremendously progressed in providing digital services to its esteemed clientele. The bank presently provides digital services like SMS banking, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, RUPAY cards and Direct Benefit Transfer, etc. to promote digital banking and move towards the less cash economy. He urged the masses who are mostly agricultural class to avail the facility of KCC to augment their farm income in the long run.
DK Bali, General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank said that J&K Grameen Bank in addition to its primary business of banking has also forayed into insurance sector through tie-ups with insurance partners like LIC, Bajaj General and Religare Health. He further said that various social security schemes like APY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and PMJDY accounts are also available in the bank. As such, he urged the gathering to enjoy their benefits and spread awareness among their peers.
DD Gupta, Chief, Audit Inspection & Vigilance, J&K Grameen Bank appealed the public to enrol under various Government sponsored social security schemes provided by the bank. He further made the public aware about various fraudulent tricks applied by the fraudsters to dupe innocent public of their hard earned money.
Sahil Sharma, Regional Manager (Jammu), J&K Grameen Bank, also spoke on the occasion. He also talked about ongoing credit campaign of the bank under which car loan is made available at 8.75 % and housing loan at 8 % per annum.
Besides above dignitaries of the bank, all the department heads’ of J&K Grameen Bank, Branch Head, Kartholi along with Branch Heads of other nearby branch offices were also present on the occasion.
