* BJP snatched our status, lands, jobs, resources: Lal Singh

KATHUA, Mar 27: Senior AICC leader and Incharge J&K affairs of the party, Bharatsinh Solanki today alleged that Modi Government has been working for Ambanis, Adanis and other big Corporate houses and not for the poor people of this country.
Addressing a massive election rally at Ram Lila Ground at Kathua today, Solanki, a former Union Minister accused Modi Govt for dancing to the tunes of corporate friends like Adani, Ambani while poor people suffer a lot due to price rise and joblessness for ten years.
He said that people are ready to say goodbye to the BJP Government and want a change, both at the Centre and Jammu & Kashmir too and asked the big crowd to remain fully awakened till elections are over. He said people have made up their mind to bring a big change on the political horizon of the country.
Solanki termed Ch Lal Singh as a popular leader and a friend who has served the people in different capacities as Member Parliament and Minister and a known for crusade for the common people.
JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani asked the people to elect Ch Lal Singh, who is people’s man. He said that he is popular amongst people of all sections and parts of the constituency and people from different parts are available in the rally.
Ch Lal Singh in his address hit out at the BJP Government and its’ Ministers for the vindictive and arrogant style, never witnessed in the democracy. They want to dominate every individual and have spared none in the authoritarian regime of ten years including common people, daily wagers, contractuals old age, petty contractors etc.
“BJP has snatched our dignity, status, looted our resources including forced tractor trolly operators to joblessness. The old age people are running from pillar to post for completing the eligibilities. The employees and daily wagers can resort to agitation,” he added.
He said the refugees of PoJK who suffered a lot during partition, are in lakhs in Jammu region. They are being denied rights to sell their allotted lands by the BJP Government which used to become messiha of the community. There is no one who is not suffering under BJP Government, he asserted.
Lal Singh said that people were arbitrarily evicted from lands held by them for decades and people are rendered landless, jobless and tradeless.
He vowed to fight for the rights of the people especially poor and common people of each suffering section.
The massive rally at Ram Lila Ground was also addressed by AICC Secretary Manoj Yadav, Lal Singh’s wife Kanta Andotra (ex-MLA), leaders of NC, PDP, Panthers Party, former Minister Dr Manohar Lal besides a host of senior Congress leaders, former Ministers, former MLAs/MLCs, district presidents and frontal leaders of the party.
