JAMMU, Apr 8: Expressing confidence that State Coalition will soon bring sea change in the development profile of Jammu and Kashmir, senior BJP leader and MLA from Jammu East Constituency Rajesh Gupta said that State Government has already initiated execution on several developmental works to upgrade the current inadequate infrastructure created by previous dispensation for ensuring welfare of its State subjects.
He was addressing a largely attended function organized in connection with the up-gradation of lanes and drains at Jullaka Mohalla locality falling under Ward No.2 of Jammu East Constituency here today.
The estimated cost of up-gradation of these lanes and drains is approximately Rs. 4.50 lakh.
Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Soujanya Kumar Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Rajesh while interacting with the residents of the area assured that public service and welfare of society will be his benchmark approach. He vowed to work relentlessly for achieving his goal in making the constituency an example for its counterparts with up to the mark edifice and all round development. He also invited innovative suggestions from people for putting in more vigour into his mission to provide bounties in the shape of facilities and services to the residents of Jammu East.
Speaking on the occasion, JMC Commissioner Soujanya Kumar Sharma assured the residents that Ward No. 2 will be developed as a model ward by accomplishing cent percent work.
Prominent among those who accompanied Rajesh Gupta during his visit to Ward No. 2 included Murari Lal, Dalip Gupta, Rajinder, Shashikant Sapolia, Pardeep Langeh, Ajesh, Nittu, Satpal Rathore, Lalit, Karan Singh, Ashwani, Ramesh, Rajesh, Manav, Chamanlal, Raj Kumar, Lucky Jain, Montu and Amit Sawhney.
