JAMMU, Mar 17: Minister of State for Technical Education, Vikar Rasool today said that the Government is committed to upgrade the infrastructural facilities and other allied things in different ITIs in the State.
The Minister was speaking during a function organised by Delegates Convention of All Jammu and Kashmir ITIs Employees United Forum.
Mr. Vikar said that by upgrading the infrastructure capabilities and introducing different streams in ITIs, the Government, would be launching the much needed vocational courses.
He said that these activities would surely generate self employment avenues for youth of the State. He said that several courses would be introduced and the work is going on in different ITIs across the State.
While assuring the organizer for redressing their problems at an earliest the Minister assured them that he would take up the issues with the concerned so that they are solved with in the shortest possible time.
The Forum projected several demands including filling up of vacant posts, development of skills and procurement of new equipment and creation of posts in the ITIs.
