Govt should address basic problems of KPs: Apni Party

JAMMU, Oct 28: Apni Party J&K today appealed to the Government of India and Lt Governor J&K to address the basic problems of Kashmiri Pandits living in exile for last more than 30 years.
In a statement issued here today, Apni Party general secretary J&K, Vijay Bakaya (former Chief Secretary J&K) highlighted the problems being faced by the community like enhancement of monthly cash relief to Rs 25000 per month , provisions for providing one job per family on the pattern of Punjab State, regular supply of pure drinking water in migrant colonies like Jagti, TRT. Nagrota , Buta Nagar and Purkhoo , construction of additional quarters in Valley for PM package employes working there.
He also appealed Government of India and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to consider these genuine problems on priority basis for the redressal as this community has pinned great hopes in the present dispensation.
Apni Party Displaced Morcha leaders Vinod Pandita, Sanjay Dhar, Mohan Lal Bhat Vishal Jotshi, Dazy Dhar and others, have expressed their solidarity and support to JTC and SKF protest for the genuine demands of the community like enhancement of cash relief to Rs 25000 per month , besides 20000 job package with 5000 class fourth posts be also announced for educated unemployed KP youth as unemployment is on rise in the community.
