JAMMU, May 14: The Government today ordered setting up of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) under overall superintendence and control of Inspector General of Police, Crime, J&K.
Accordingly, the Government has transferred 100 posts of various ranks from erstwhile Anti-hijacking Units to ANTF.
The posts included one SP, two DySPs, nine Inspectors, 18 Sub Inspectors, 18 Assistant Sub Inspectors and 52 Selection Grade/Constables.
The Government order said while effecting transfer and postings, it shall be ensured that 50 percent of Sub Inspectors, to be posted to ANTF, shall be direct recruits.
