KATHUA, Aug 8: In a shocking incident peon of a Government school brutally attacked a class nine student who was rushed to the hospital by his parents in critical condition.
Sunil Kumar son of Jagdish Raj of Khanpur is now under treatment at District Hospital Kathua while the erring peon Vijay Singh is moving scot-free while the law enforcement and education authorities have yet to come out of their slumber.
The peon used to park his motorcycle at the ground of Government Higher Secondary School Khanpur, Hiranagar which fell and he targeted the innocent student as he was playing in the ground.
Adding more to shock, the injured student reached home and fell unconscious there when his parents rushed him to the hospital.
When contacted, CEO Kathua Bishan Singh said that the matter is under for some strict action against the guilty person.
He further informed that schools are already issued strict instructions to deal the students in a friendly way and never subject them to physical punishment.
