KISHTWAR, Dec 11: A Government school gutted in mysterious fire in Krousa area, falling under the jurisdiction of Dachhan police station.
As per police sources, fire broke out in UPS Krousa, Zone Marwah under mysterious circumstances during the intervening night of December 10 and 11.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the locals doused the flames, but by then, the school and kitchen shed were gutted in fire.
No casualty or injury has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Dachhan police has registered a case in this regard and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind the fire.
When contacted SSP, Sandeep Wazir said that the school got gutted in mysterious fire. We are investigating the cause of the fire, he added.
Meanwhile, Chief Education Officer (CEO) framed a committee comprising of ZEO Dachhan Ramesh Babu, Incharge Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Sounder Vidya Dhar and Lecturer GHSS Palmar Bansi Lal to conduct inquiry into the incident and submit the report as early as possible.
