JAMMU, Sept 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has reconstituted the Standing Committee tasked with examining the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) plans of hydroelectric power projects and making recommendations for approval of the UT Government.
The panel will also oversee the implementation and sanctioning of the CSR component of the 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Power Project in Kishtwar.
“In partial modification of Government order number 691-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated June 11, 2025, it is hereby ordered that the Standing Committee constituted for examining Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) Plan of HEPs and make recommendations for approval of the UT Government, shall also be responsible for implementation/sanctioning CSR component of Ratle Hydro Electric Power Project (850 MW), Kishtwar, J&K,” read an order issued by Dr Piyush Singla, Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department
